My six favourite star facts
1. The sun is a star
2. Real stars do not have five points. Real stars are shaped like balls.
3. There are about 100 sextillion stars in the known universe
(100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)
4: Everyday, about 100 tons of stardust land on earth.
5: The atoms that make up our body were once part of stars. (We're stars! at least part of us)
6: Stars shine steadily. They don't twinkle. But twinkle twinkle little star still lives.
As emo as it may sound, I love gazing at the night sky, especially when the beautiful moon shines full. Stars twinkle(can't see much here, though. and yes, stars still shine steadily). Trying to form the craziest patterns with them, when there's plenty.
Blinking plane's light gliding through the dark, empty.
If you look closer, you can see translucent clouds, nothing like the day.
And oh yes, when looking at the dark sky, you're actually looking at the universe, its just above us! Sometime's I just don't realise that a whole new, big, world is just up there *points out the window.
A dark sheet blanketing the Earth as it gets colder. Yea.... the beautiful night sky. Ahhhh... the sky always looked stunning at night. Now I understand why primitive men worship the heavens. I can go emo all night long when talking about the gorgeous night sky, so yea... i shall stop here.
Oh, try putting aside an early morning, lying down on the wet grass(with the dew, it's refreshing), just facing the night sky. It's gonna be awesome
