People after people, they rejected me today. I made up my mind and went for flag day. wee
There's a bunch of people who went Ke Belakang Puseng whenever I started to approach them for donations. As in, they went up the escalator, turned 180 degrees when they saw us flag-day-ers, and went back down. Kiasu, lol. I was once in their shoes. Well, lot's of time. And it can be intimidating to see flag-day-ers(what do they call them?) one after another alright. But after carrying a tin can with stickers at the edges for the day, I realised that there's nothing intimidating about it. And to learn that it's for the Dahrul Ihsan Orphanage, even a decent 20 cents would mean the world to them orphans. I believe that the orphans will benefit from those donations, tremendously. Flag day, all the way, come again another day. Heck about the CIP points.
As ironic to the above paragraph as it may sound, my tin can was pathetic, lol. Coz we spent most of the time wandering around this isolated business district, which had nothing but empty. It was in the morning dey(morning day, haha). Should have gone to Jurong or Bugis or something.
And I tried another Nasi Ayam Penyet for brunch(breakfast/lunch) at Marina Square's food court. Another food experience never to be regretted.
I thought of busking actually. As in, sit in the middle of the tunnel(orchard's seems popular), dance, sing a song or just by organizing something nice... But then, we'll need a license for that. Busking doesn't come cheap. At least, only here that is.
May the tin be with you
