Hady won Asian Idolll! This is a slow acknowledgement, but he deserves it(it's not about symphatical(?) votes, he caters to most asians that's whyy) whoo hooo ya bi dr doo little! *happy+proud-to-be-a-singaporean emoticon
Neways, the choir concert was gooood. It's my first choir concert, and I've to say, it's a totally different concert. Andd chorists' range are high mann. Powerr. I like the hooga hooga song, the one with the clapping and foot stomping. The lyrics to the songs are nice, lucky thing there's the booklet, coz I'll misinterprate.
Learned some new things from Aaron about singing, lol. About soprano, how great the soloist could sing with her fake voice(it was captivating), and etc. and not to mention, the usual humour. Even the simplest words, like "round yon Virgin" from this christmas carol are funnylicious.
"How do you feel when the day is at end?
Did you take time to be somebody's friend?
What can I do at the end of the day,
To show my thanks in my own special way?"
I like... and
"Come to me in my dreams
And then by day I shall be well again.
The night will more than pay
the hopeless longing of the day."
Left DBS Tower for Lau Pah Sat for another Nasi Ayam PENYET. And after which, esplanade till midnight. Missed last train, and resorted to taking bus. And I waited and realized that the last bus's gone. My phone batt's gone(this was a turning point for me, must.rmb.to.charge.phone). And I didn't bring extra ka-chings. And I was alone. Woo hoo?
Midnight taxi was the only option, or maybe walking home from nicoll highway at 1 in the morning(I thought of doing that, talk about desperation). Borrowed the taxi driver's phone and called home. Loll, it's not a good idea to wake someone up in the middle of the night.
From then on, I'm really grounded or I think I am. Coz even if I could, I'll just stay at home and get some work done, unless there's a real nice outing, which will prolly be everyday(especially during this festive season, nyeheh) I still love my parents ^^
I don't celebrate christmas, but why not spread the love, Merry Xmas! World peace la!
(the concert'll be better if more had came, really *winks)
