Yea!~ All the major papers are gone, only left with all the sciences' paper 1/mcq next week, but who cares? seriously, hehehe

Revolution of time:
Pri 4:Will I get to EM1?
Pri 5:Which class will I be next?
Pri 6:Which school should I go?
Sec 1: Nothing really matters in sec 1, lol
Sec 2: Will I get my desired subject combination and class?
Sec 3: Will I get retained?

Lol, man... to drop a maths or worst, get retained, are the worst thoughts I tell you.

Good news, a maths was pass-able, or even, can-get-not-bad-or-high-marks-able. So, hoho haha. Yea.. hoho haha. Maybe retaining's not that bad, more time to study... But I don't wanna stay in the monotony of school for one more year sia.

Besides the sports fiesta, graduation day(I was one of the ushers/bouncer, couldn't get to see the whole event, damnnn, and the videos were awesome and hilarious) and all the other study-free, illustrious events, the rest basically, stinks. Imagine one more year of tests, tests, exams, exams. Cannot angkat, tahan sia.

And our future employers won't have a look at our pri/sec school report books nor the o level cert nor the a level cert. They'll just have a look at the final product/qualification, Exp: Diploma, Degree, Bachelor, PHD(Awesome), etc. So yea... the future seems fair after all ya? Yea... have to take it easy in this forced 12 years of education, to have a better mindset and an open heart for the real thang, the final qualification, which is the one that matters eventually.

So.... what am I doing at 6.30 in the morning now? I'm finding time for blogging, zakiv4... I miss you so much, muacks muacks muacks ^^

Man... I pity teachers, I really do. I have my soft side for teachers too, ahha. But I'm sure I can't stand staying in the education system for further more years, like teachers do.

Before, you carry on, if you're tired reading this long post, jump to the few last stanzas, coz they're the one that matters most eventually.

Firstly, we have this parents-come-first-and-teachers-last policy. Seriously, parents can just give a redundant/pointless complain to the school, and the teacher's the first one to be blamed. Even if the student and parent are punching and pulling the teacher's hair, the principal will still blame the teachers for their misbehaviour, sigh.

Secondly, are the students. Cmon, for goodness sake, we're not interested in boring lessons lah dey. Newsflash: NO ONE CARES(sounds rebellious enough?). No matter how hard the government tries to put some new cool policy to make school's a joy, we just see no point of studying these subjects and we're just following the system blindly. YEA, who's with me?! raise your hands pleasee. hahha.

We've no compulsion to study, like how we have no compulsion to clear the rubbish dump when our parents asked to do so and walk all the way to the rubbish-dumping thing to clear it. Yea... okay maybe some do, those I'm-gonna-be-astronauts/scientist-in-the-future type. But for crying out loud, not everyone's gonna be einstein in the future man, not even the majority ah. Yea yea, study's important, grade's cool, A1s' alright, but by the end of the day, those won't matter, and there goes 12 years(and counting, excluding those kindergarden days, they rule) of our lifes, excluding NS(I CAN'T WAIT, it's like a 2 years obs camp, with no boring lessons:D)

Pri 4, pri 5, Pri 6, Sec 2. What do they have in common? STREAMING. Sheesh, for goodness sake(I'm gonna use this statement quite frequently in this post), cut the streaming thing already. Simply put, it's arranging students according to their abilty to do well in their oh so redundant studies, and at the same time their disability. Disability, disability. And parents are now supporting this streaming policy. Comparing, the worst thing that can ever happen. Parents, makcik-makck, nyonyas-nyonyas, aunties-aunties, tend to compare their children with their other children. Okay, yea yea... we compliment and acknowledge your child's achievement, yes we do, but then again, NEWSFLASH: NO ONE CARES

Man... i can write a whole harry-potter-thick book on this

Anws, I see so much talents, not only in terms of arts(music and dance), in the streets and even within my friends ;) It can be bizarre but extraordinary things like Yoyo playing and magic tricks, to noble ones like their interest in Islam, to interesting ones like fashion designing, to beautiful ones like painting and sculpturing, to more intensed ones like setting up their own online blog shops or small shops and sell those nice small stuffs. But why aren't we seeing young singaporeans and the older ones making it big worldwide, okay step by step, Asia-wide also can lah.

This is because, we're spending too much time on biology, physics, chemistry, maths, civic and moral education(what the?), you name the rest. 12 years of them, fu yoo. Sometimes, these subjects are interesting yea, but to look far ahead, spending so much time on these subjects' not gonna matter. End product remember, end product.

I'm going off topic. So, what does this relate to teachers? Well, I pity them teachers teaching a bunch of students who follow blindly in lessons(like me), who's not interested in what they're teaching. Yeap, we've got other things to go crazy about you know.. Cmon, give the teachers and us students a break, will ya? Who am I forwarding these questions to? The G O V E R.... you know the rest.

Okay lastly, I've learned that there's this 30k bond that teachers have to sign. Okay it goes like this: Aspiring teachers to-be goes to NIE for teaching courses, then they've to sign a bond for 3 years, they'll be posted in random school. The first year is crucial, its when they've get "confirmed". If they're not "confirmed", they are forced to break the bond and fork out $30, 000 to pay MOE. So who "confirms" you? The Principal, jeng jeng jeng. What if you have a principal who doesn't like your face and be obedient and play politics? Then, you're doooomed. No wonder most full-time teachers are older than those relief teachers, who doesn't need to sign the bond. I gotta admit, the relief teachers are really young and good looking, no stress no pressure.

Like the previous post, life's full of probelm, it's either you moan about it, or you solve it. Enough moaning, I've got solution that I suggest the goverment and principals could do to solve this, ahem ahem

About the parents-come-first-teachers-comes-last policy thing, do give the teacher's opinion some weigh yea? All the time, the students have to do reflection on what occurs, and the teachers have no say on this, except for those egoistic ones who thinks they're right all the time. Yea.. .teachers too have to write their reflection. It's like they caught us doing something like playing around and using the handphone, and expect a written from us? What is there to reflect on? we did what we did, and I don't think it's so severe until we have to write an essay-long reflection, hoping that we're all repent or something. Trust me... us students wont' change that easily just because of a single piece of paper, or demerit points or anything written. The most we'll do is to be good infront of the teacher who punished us, and act like a wild boar behind them.

So, if the teachers are to write their reflections too, we can see both sides of the story, good for the teachers and good for the students. What if the student complain about a teacher who he didn't like and threaten to tell his parents? And the teacher has no say on this? Then, bye bye teacher, there goes your $30, 000 (if you're still under that bond thing) We've a group of teachers who's incharge of discipline, ONLY. It's so that the other subject teachers can spend more time and attention with their subjects. Yea... most of the teachers have to mark books lah, run a CCA lah, do powerpoint presentations lah, and to top it all with a cherry on top, to handle and deal with monkeys(i can be one at times, hehe) in class hanging on the ceiling, participating in a paper ball war, etc. Well, I'm not an enemy of these normal teenager behaviours, but its just that I pity teachers... aww.... say aww.. cmon

Streaming. Instead of streaming us students according to grades, why not stream students according to their one interest aye? Well, it's good for us to mix around with "our type" and the teachers can teach effectively to a bunch of students who are actually interested in their teachings. Interest here does not come only in 4 monotonous forms, Sciences, Maths, Humanities and Languages. Cmon, widen the horizon for subjects. Music, Art, Business, Dance(think they've got already?), Modelling, Designing(fashion designing, website designing, all sorts of designing, etc) Yea.. widen widen widen. Having them as CCAs won't do the trick.

Don't wait till we're in la salle school of fine arts, poly, universities, to brush our interests already. Start young, more time to spend with our desired subjects(interest's a better word) and a guarenteed brighter future and a buffet of talent we'd fostered and shaped. We'll not only make it locally, but globally as well, and I'm sure most of you're planning to ditch singapore and work overseas, NETHERLANDS, ANTARTICA(sounds cool, lol), TURKEY, DUBAI. Yea, some bombastic european country or middle eastern country will be great!

Yea.. we'll have more than enough well-developed talents to work locally, and globally too. No more overseas talents to keep this country running, muahaha, nyehehe

Okay, I've only 2 suggestions for the oh so high and illustrious government. Who am I kidding? okay... do share with me your oppinions and suggestions WE CAN'T AND MUSN'T LET THEM SILENCE US.

AND FOR BURMA BABAE! DEMOLISH THE CRUEL RULING! (I thought those things only happen in the dark past, and in social studies text books)

DO SUPPORT YA!~~

Ozone layer depleting, global warming. It takes millions billions of years for the earth to come about with the luxurious mountains, beatutiful sky, oh so green forest, but it only takes a day for us to destroy it.

Man.. the world's ending soon. The rate of the this world rotting is increasing so fast, oh so fast, superbly fast. It was japanese occupation, racial riots, and now global warming the mother of all world issues.

We can't stop the continuos depleting of ozone layer and global warming and the chances of the end of the world, but we can, at least, put it the effort to slow down the rate of it, and give our children and grand children and great grand children the chance we had, to live.

Thanks for hearing my rants, i wanna hear yours :D

Waiting, waiting for the world to change
