So, I escaped Sook Ching II. I was one of the escape convicts of the first Sook Ching. Okay, what am I talking about? Sook Ching's the unofficial name for the main spot check: hair, socks, nails and the likes. And I wasn't caught, fortunately, I had my hair cut in advance and my socks, thanks to long pants, no matter knee-length socks or ankle socks or those toe socks, its hard to notice, lol.
So yea, the previous Sook Ching was funny, and scary. Boys from different levels gathered in the arena to witness this ceremony. Oh, I make it sound so extravagant. It wasn't. It was baaddd. We sat in rows and columns and Mr.Mui cut our hair with a pair of scissors one by one. So, I sat beside GGC, we were joking around to put our fear of losing our hair aside. And so, my turn came. I lost my sideburns and the thing at the back(I don't know what it's called). Not that I care or what, but there's patches here and there which can be disturbing. So, after that, we went to the nearest toilet to touch up on those unsightly hair issues, lol. And to our delight, almost all who participated in the Sook Ching, gathered in the toilet, throughout the levels, having the same agenda as us. So, missed Geog period(I remembered), due to this illustrious ceremony, lol. Good times...
Lessons on friday was unexpectably un-sleepable. Why? Coz I was treasuring those few last lessons before my O's Oral, which was later that day. Maths' seemed more fun, 2 periods of SS passed fast. So, went for friday prayers, and it was gooood and satisfying. I was so tensed, others around me could see that. It's a good feeling to know that God's will always be there for us, everytime. And I really owe Ibrahim for leading our doas and amin-kan mine. Yea, so thanks alot. And thanks to those well wishes from everyone! Much much apreciated indeed.
And so, went to Henderson and sat for my oral. The teachers were friendly. I spoke for a while, till this indonesian girl went, "Awak cakap banyak banget sih". Besides that, I saw Ms.Leng, our previous maths trainee teacher. She was delighted to see me, pretty much. After all the trouble we did to her(not that serious though), she still misses us, and that's why I adore teachers, not all though. Anyways, as a form of appreciation/gayness(lol), I bought for her this soya-bean drink from the canteen and to see her smile after receiving it was satisfying. That's the least I could do to return her favour, teaching us for quite some time.
Today, I feel bad for not attending this farewell ceremony for our coach, who had her last training today. It was near the hall. I was too late. I was in the lab attending physics. I could have just gone there and bid her farewell and get her something or what, but I didn't. I'm the worst. Man... I should make it up. Anyways, I'm gonna miss her, although we don't communicate much coz she speaks chinese, and I'm an alien to chinese. But other than that, she was a good coach.. Not that typical strict/must-follow-what-i-tell-you-to-do coach. She was the coach who had the ability to bond the team. I'm getting too sentimental, so, sorry my ping-pong-mates and especially jiao lian(is that how u spell coach in chinese?) for not attending. May you succeed in your future endeavours, coach.
And I lost another person
Australia defeated Singapore, 3-0, on the prestigious closing ceremony for our National Stadium.
