Random:when we are HUNGRY, we are chio! (Zaki, Isa)

Hey, just came back from the ITQAN camp. it was SUPERB.
well ITQAN is,

Integrity
Teamwork
Quah(Brave to do what is right in a calm manner)
Ambassadorship
New Age

firstly, i wanna thank Arif for giving me this opportunity to attend the camp. TERIMA KASIH

the instructors, Ustaz Hassan and Pak Utih (both from Malaysia), was super FUN. yea. but this is not really another religious classes and about fun. yes, the activities and the camp was fun, but the motive is to train potential Muslim leaders from different youths organisation and mosque youth wings for the future. yea, here in SG, youths are in charge! lol.

and wait, i'm the YOUNGEST attending the camp. in fact the youngest in the history of ITQAN. yea, in all 22nd batches of ITQAN. the others had much more experience than me. most are poly/jc students. quite pressurizing eh. the way they talk, present, discuss, and even sing, were SUPER PRO! i really respect and admire them. as im the youngest, i looked up to them as older brothers and sisters. yea, and they shared and taught me alot of stuffs man. despite that, we can really get along well. really well.

we were divided into 5 groups. and I LOVE MY GROUP. our group name is "OKAY GO". yea, if there's any challenges, we will not hesitate to say, "OKAY GO". we were so hyper. and we have a really talented artist, Danial, who drew and wrote our presentations. the team is made up of Atif(the whole ITQAN contingent's assistant leader), Nasir(group leader), Muhammad(fun and a responsible Muslim), Danial(our talented artist), Imran(the young yet matured guy), Hafiz(FUNNY!) and Zaki(the small and the youngest,lol)

All 5 core values are divided into 5 modules. 1 module is about 4-5hours? yea. thats tough.

The cretive activities that we did made us understand each core values much more better. for example we saw a video of how geese shows teamwork as they fly. they form V shape line and they could fly 70% faster! woo! and when the leader geese is down or tired, one of them will take over. cool right? and then we were supposed to work together by lining up, put balloons in between each other, and walk towards the finishing line. WITHOUT TOUCHING/HOLDING the balloon. and how we did? in fact all the groups fail. the 2nd teamwork activity was lining up again, all eyes must be covered except for the last guy. he have to lead the whole group. WITHOUT TALKING. only by like taping the body or anything. we have to catch as many balloons as possible. yea, and we WON. woo! each of us received 2 stars. btw, if we receive more than 5 stars, we will be called "Dato' Zaki" like "Sir Zaki" and so on.

and there's one activity, made us really sad. Pak Utih asked us to relax and close our eyes. think of the worst sin we had ever made. he then played a sad Muslim song(about asking God to forgive us). after the song ended, he asked us to open our eyes, and everyone cried(not really cried lah, just tears went down our cheeks). he mentioned that there is still hope. yea, and after that activity, the environment was silent. yea, silent.

we didn't spent alot of time on activities though. most of the time was spent on talks, lectures from Uztaz Hassan. man, hes really funny!

i remeber a phrase that goes "Kalau terpandang perempuan sekali, itu rezeki. Kalau pandang perempuan kali kedua, itu risky" it means it u glanced at a girl, it is a blessing(rezeki), for the second time it is "risky". the word "rezeki" and "risky" sounds alike. LOL

but most of all, the important thing is the knowledge that we gain from the camp that we can apply in our everyday use. we are the 22nd batch of ITQANians. and our bath is called YOUTH-T. as in Mufti(leader) of the youths. yea, and we have lots of projects and proposals in the near future like making a youth hub/centre in mosques. yea, its really fun and worth while. its good to know that i'm an ITQANian. :D Alhamdullilah...

i watched the move "Night at the Museum" with my family just now. man, its hilarious! imagine the fierce mongolian hunter cry. and Roman army and Comboys get together. LOL.
btw, im eating Arnots Chewy Caramel Chocolate Bar. ITS TASTY! should try it!
